Fasten your seatbelts: You can now fly from Dubai to Abu Dhabi

If you're partial to a road trip to Abu Dhabi every so often - your prayers might have just been answered.

Leave the traffic behind, as in just a quick 30-minute flight, you could be landing in Abu Dhabi.

No, it's not a magic carpet, it’s a flying taxi made especially for travellers between Abu Dhabi and Dubai - and get this, by 2025, we can expect vertiports in both cities for this.

Here’s everything you need to know…

Archer Aviation has partnered with Falcon Aviation, based in Abu Dhabi, to establish a network of vertiports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai - the same group that announced the possibility of flying taxis in Dubai.

Where could you be jetting off to?

You could be flying from Abu Dhabi and Dubai onboard their Midnight aircraft, which is the official aerial taxi for inter-city flights.

Get zipping between Abu Dhabi's Marina Mall Heliport in the Corniche district and Dubai's Falcon Tours Heliport Terminal at Atlantis The Palm resort in as little as 30 minutes or less.

With this, the flying taxis are also going to be made more sustainable to reduce the carbon footprint, and the best part - traffic will drop by 20% across both cities.
